Winterwonderland

Today I went for a walk with a good friend. We’ve been there before to take pictures with lovely fall colors. Now it was time to go back, the snow turned the idyllic place in a real winterwonderland. I was wearing my new H&M jeans and purse and Zara beanie.

The coat

I cannot believe how many compliments I’ve received the last couple of weeks about my tweed – sixties inspired – coat. Everybody asks me if it’s a new one scored during sales. No, it isn’t. I’ve bought this coat a few seasons ago at Bobo. I think people forgot about me wearing it before. But I like it that an ‘old’ coat gets that much attention these days, and I’m wearing it a lot. No not only for the compliments, but also because its a between season coat, and the temperatures aren’t that low (although the weatherman predicts a cold weekend, so coats need to be changed!). This is also my first outfit post with my new boots I ordered recently. I really love these shoes, they’re actually grown on my feed I think.

It’s kinda “a new month a new beginning” for me. I said to myself yesterday that I will make a very good and well structured comeback. Times are really busy for me now, but I think if I plan it well, it will work out. I want to blog every day from now on. And if I say this online, I have to do it right? For me it’s the stimulation that I need. Don’t understand here that I have to drag myself and force myself to blog. I really enjoy it, but some personal issues made me blog less because my mind was elsewhere. I love to write, take pictures, edit them and when I finish a post I feel zen. This blog is my distraction and in Dutch we call it “een verzetje” and it’s just what I need. I also hope this ‘new start’ or what will I call it, wil make Life with a View bigger. Oh yes, there’s also an outfit to talk about. These are my first (and only) pair of printed pants. I wasn’t a fan from the beginning but I do love it now. The new ss13 collections will bring printed pants as well so I’m allready looking forward to it.

Outfit The Big You + Technogym

This was my outfit for The Big You, the fantastic bloggersevent organised by Unlimited PR. I was wearing a Bobo trousers, top and blazer, a Vero Moda sweater, River Woods sneakers, Forever 21 earrings, a H&M tote and Versace for H&M ring.

There’s one more thing I’d like to tell you about of The Big You. I’ve tested there a Technogym training machine, the Recline Personal. It looked like a normal bike but when you were pedalling, a computer started working. So no more excuses for workaholics, from now on you can work and work out at the same time. I updated my FB status with it, it takes a while to get used to it, but updating your status and burning calories at the same time? I LIKE..

Special thanks to UPR and Jan Opdekamp for the Technogym pictures!

Don't forget to like my picture on the Sacha Shoes FB page (HERE). I would love to win free shoes!
